SUMMARY OF THE CASE
On November 22, 2022, 22-year-old Jasmine Pace was last seen alive, leaving her family’s home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. What began as a missing person case quickly turned into a chilling homicide investigation when Jasmine’s car was found abandoned days later, and evidence led authorities to the apartment of her boyfriend, Jason Chen. Surveillance footage, phone records, and forensic evidence painted a harrowing picture of Jasmine’s final moments, revealing she had been brutally murdered and her body disposed of inside of a suitcase on Suck Creek Road in Chattanooga.
The case gripped the local community as law enforcement worked tirelessly to piece together what happened. When the trial began in 2024, the details were both heartbreaking and disturbing.
